Private and group lessons for all ages. Clinton Anderson Down Under Horsemanship method.
There’s a right way and a wrong way to learn to ride. The wrong way is getting thrown on a horse and hoping for the best. The right way is what we do here: Clinton Anderson’s Down Under Horsemanship method, which teaches you how to communicate with a horse before you ever get in the saddle.
It’s not just about staying on. It’s about understanding what the horse is telling you, and knowing how to respond. That foundation changes everything — your safety, your confidence, your relationship with the horse, and how far you can go as a rider.
We offer private and group lessons for all ages and experience levels. First-timers are welcome. Returning riders who want to fix bad habits are welcome. Kids who’ve been asking their parents for lessons since they could talk are especially welcome.
Anyone who wants to ride well, not just ride. We’ve worked with complete beginners who’d never touched a horse, intermediate riders who picked up bad habits somewhere along the way, and young riders whose parents want them to learn properly from the start. The method works at every level.
You’ll work on ground exercises first — desensitizing, yielding, building respect and communication. Then we move to mounted work at whatever pace fits where you are. By the end of your first lesson, you’ll feel a difference. By the end of a series, you’ll be a different rider.
Private and group slots available. By reservation only. Contact us or book now — we’ll match you with the right horse and the right instructor based on your goals and experience level.
