Week-long hands-on horse camp for kids. Grooming, riding, ranch chores, and real ranch life.
Horse Day Camp isn’t a drop-and-go activity. It’s a full week on a working Kansas ranch where kids earn their way with the horses. Grooming, feeding, cleaning stalls, ground work, mounted riding — they do it all, every day, with horses that become familiar and comfortable by mid-week.
We modeled camp on the way ranch kids actually learn. Not from a PowerPoint or a demonstration from the fence. From doing. From getting in there and figuring it out alongside the animals. The kids who’ve come through camp talk about it for years. Parents tell us it’s the best week their kid had all summer. We believe them — because we see it happen every session.
Spots are limited intentionally. Small groups mean every camper gets real time with the horses and real attention from the instructors. This isn’t a factory. It’s the ranch — and the ranch has a way of getting in a kid’s blood.
Morning feeding and grooming. Ground work and desensitizing exercises. Mounted riding and trail work. Ranch chores alongside the working crew. Cattle encounters. Evening activities depending on the session. By the end of the week, campers aren’t guests anymore — they’re part of how the ranch runs each morning.
Kids who love horses, kids who are curious about ranch life, and kids who need a week away from screens and in the open air. Prior riding experience is helpful but not required. We meet every camper where they are.
Sessions are limited and fill up early. Contact us to get on the list or check upcoming session dates. Do not wait if summer camp is on your list — spots go fast once dates are announced.
